A little remote from the main routes through the central Aegean these islands are an insiders' tip in Greece. The wind in Meltemi is not quite as heavy as elsewhere. What is especially fascinating about Greece is the expanse and the variety of the sailing area. The smaller the island, the farther away we are from the through and through organized yachting tourism. You will find no or only a very few marinas - the simple fisherport is our camping place for the night. One has to anchor as there is no mooring. Basically very easy and cheap. A litte exploration fever and adventure feeling that we are all looking for in sailing, here, in Greece you can feel it.
